Inspired Partnerships were appointed to do the concept, coordination, and implementation design for the refurbishment of a primary entertainment venue at our longstanding client’s Somerset holiday park, including new performer facilities, refreshed finishes, and a full-discharge wet sprinkler system replacement.

Detail

Inspired were appointed to do the full package of concept design, technical coordination, cost planning, and commercial management for upgrades across a 3,000-seat auditorium and its connected bars, shops, and service areas, covering 50,600 sqft (4,701 m²) on one level.

The scope includes complete renewal of backstage dressing rooms, welfare spaces, stage and production offices, and working areas. Additional improvements include enhanced storage and servicing zones with mezzanine structures, upgraded costume washing facilities, and improved performer and crew movement strategies.

The project introduces a new sprinkler system with an external reservoir, full internal ceiling replacement, upgraded accommodation and emergency lighting systems, and renewal of specialist stage sound and lighting installations. Accessibility measures will be modernised throughout, and refreshed branding and front-of-house finishes will create a brighter, more contemporary guest experience.
